Joanne and Pete's Cosy Autumn Woodland Engagement Shoot at Towneley Hall
When I first got in touch with Joanne to plan her engagement shoot with Pete, she told me that they had met as teenagers, just 17 and 18 years old, and had been together ever since.
When we talked about locations, Joanne said that woodland and parklands would be perfect. As I read her email, I had a brainwave. Back in September I had visited Towneley Park and Hall in Burnley for the first time. It has everything - great views, stretching lawns, towering trees and a lovely woodland walk; it seemed ideal for these two.
Joanne and Pete travelled from Manchester to join me at the park and even though it was busy, we found some quiet routes, and LOTS of squirrels.
Joanne and Pete had never had a natural, unposed photo shoot before so this was completely new to them but they smashed it! We just chatted away while they walked, they spotted in-coming cars for me while I photographed by a track (thanks guys!).
They have 3 amazing children and the youngest is only 3 months old. They've found a new spot to go with the kids too!
Joanne and Pete have been planning to get married for a long time, and every time they do, they find themselves expecting a new addition to the family. This time around Pete whisked Joanne away to their dream location, Peckforton Castle in Cheshire and proposed.
Since then, they've found a beautiful place for their wedding, in the Lake District and they're planning their day.
