The New Deans

The wedding of Anya and Philip Dean is one that will never fade in the memory of everyone who witnessed it. It goes without saying that weddings are all about love but these two incredible people set the bar VERY high.

Westwood Church, in Coventry, was packed with all those closest to Anya and Phil. Songs of Praise had requested to film the occasion and the congregation rose to the occasion with every hymn.

The fun didn't stop there... as we moved to the reception guests were to discover that, along with an open bar and hog roast, Anya and Phil had provided an ice cream van stocked full of goodies for everyone to enjoy, such a queue for an ice cream man has never been seen!

We should have known from our first meeting with these two that their wedding would be brimming with love. The newly weds took time to thank every person who had helped them to create their dream day and topped it off with speeches that had everyone in fits of laughter.

Anya and Phil had wanted to have a celebration with all of their loved ones, for the enjoyment of everyone, not just themselves. And, boy, did they pull it off! Their wedding day was one of tears of laughter and a whole lot of love.

As for Jennie and I, we wished we could take every person there home with us - everyone needs love like that in their lives!

When we left the Deans' reception they were dancing the night away...that's how to start married life.
